The Academy prides itself on offering the VERY BEST value as compared to similar high performance programs taking place in Florida, Spain, California, France, and other national and international locations.  In most cases, our players enjoy substantial savings as compared to such national and international locations, while still developing their game at the same pace, and achieving similar competitive success as athletes training at such location.


And with such overwhelming interest in the Academy, we are able to maintain our same savings as during the previous season, for those who are able to register early and reserve multiple weeks.


With limited player slots, high interest, and an attractive fee schedule, we expect most Academy weeks to be fully reserved. So we encourage you to apply early, to make sure you reserve the number of weeks and the specific dates you desire.


Individual Training     

As an Academy participant, players have the ability to reserve additional individual training sessions with the Academy Director and his staff.  This unique opportunity enables players to further customize and improve their training and competitive results, at an affordable cost.  Players seeking to achieve significant tournament success or make maximum progress during their time at the Academy are highly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.   There are very limited slots available each week - last year all slots were sold out for every Academy week - so reserve early!

 

Cost depends on the amount of time reserved and the level of training desired, and can range between $75.00 - $200.00 per session.  For those requesting Individual Training when applying to the Academy, you will be contacted to reserve specific sessions once your application has been accepted.



Invitation-Only Training

Based on widespread interest, the Academy will be offering high level group training sessions for our older participants. These sessions will be designed for those already competing and preparing to compete at USTA sectional/national events, ITF competitions, collegiate competition, and high school players wishing to be recruited for collegiate tennis. To maintain consisted high level training for all players, this will be offered to confirmed participants to our Collegiate Showcase as well as on an invitation-only basis. Academy Competitions


Throughout all weeks of the summer, the Academy offers a variety of competitions for our players. These events are designed to not only provide high level competition experience, but also a learning environment so that players can better understand the areas they need to improve and the opportunity to practice such skills in a true competitive atmosphere. Parents also are encouraged to participate in many of these events to add to the fun, excitement, and learning opportunity.

Many Academy competitions are incorporated as part of players' weekly training and no additional charges are incurred. For special events and competitions, nominal fees will be charged for those who wish to participate.  Confirmed Academy participants will be informed of upcoming special events and offered the opportunity to participate.


Ancillary Costs

Lunch - Players training for a full day must have lunch to replace the calories they are burning throughout the day.  Players may either bring a lunch each day or purchase the lunch service offered.  Please note for players bringing their own lunch: LTA cannot offer refrigeration, but we can make sure lunches are kept in a shaded area. 

Snacks - The Academy offers a wide variety of drinks and snacks for cash purchase to players during the morning and afternoon hours of the program.  Complimentary water is available at all times


Early Drop-Off & Late Pick-Up - Nominal charges will apply based on the amount of added time the players remains under the supervision of Academy staff.  

Tennis Equipment - Supplies and accessories, such as grips, strings, vibration dampeners, wrist bands, head bands, etc. and stringing services are available for cash purchase to players.





Scholarship Program

The Academy's mission is to provide the most promising young athletes with elite level coaching so as to maximize their competitive potential.  To this end, Scholarship opportunities are available for gifted young athletes who otherwise may have difficulty affording Academy fees.  Contact the Academy Director for more information.
